Senior Electrical Project Manager – (Commercial) open to locations/ offices in Naples, FL / Ft Lauderdale / West Palm Beach

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Financial Management: Assume full ownership of project financial performance, including costs, revenue, billings, projections, margins, commitments, and accounts payable/receivable. Must be proficient in cost forecasting and financial tracking; experience with Spectrum accounting software is a plus.
  • Estimating & Change Orders: Identify scope gaps, manage vendor and subcontractor quotes, prepare and negotiate change order estimates, and ensure accuracy in documentation. Experience with Accubid and Accubid Change Order software is required.
  • Scheduling & Planning: Develop and manage project schedules, coordinate with general contractor timelines, and employ pull planning techniques. Proficiency with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is preferred. Collaborate closely with field superintendents to align manpower, budgets, and milestones.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor project teams, promote accountability, and maintain productive relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors. Conduct effective meetings and delegate responsibilities appropriately.
  • Process Adherence: Operate within a structured system of documented processes and procedures for project management and financial tasks. Utilize technology platforms to maintain consistent communication and reporting.
  • Client Relations: Build and sustain long-term customer relationships while balancing client needs with company objectives. Promote continuous improvement and uphold professional standards.
  • Culture & Continuous Improvement: Embrace a collaborative and growth-focused work environment, fostering mutual respect, professional development, and alignment with organizational values.

Qualifications Desired

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in the electrical construction industry.
  • Proven record managing projects valued at $10 million or more.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Smartsheet.
  • Experience with Procore project management software.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, especially for collaboration with field teams and customers.
