Restaurant Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous management experience in fine dining or upscale steakhouse environments
- Strong leadership presence with polished, professional communication skills
- Passion for training and motivating service teams to confidently present and sell wine and beverage offerings
- Excellent guest service mindset and conflict-resolution skills
- Understanding of front-of-house operations, labor scheduling, and cost controls
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts
- Experience managing private dining and special events is a plus
Restaurant Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Fine-dining steakhouse experience highly preferred
- Experience educating teams about wine and beverage programs
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-volume atmosphere
Restaurant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee all front-of-house operations to ensure luxury service standards and guest satisfaction
- Lead, train, and inspire the service team to elevate sales, engagement, and guest education around wine and beverages
- Assist with hiring, scheduling, performance management, and team development
- Manage opening, closing, cash handling, and daily reporting procedures
- Engage directly with guests to address concerns and build loyalty
- Partner with kitchen leadership for seamless service execution
- Support private dining and special event service, ensuring excellence at every touchpoint
