Relocation to Nashville, TN required for this role.

Join a thriving, well-respected structural steel erection company that’s building some of the most exciting commercial and warehouse projects in the Nashville metro area. As a Structural Steel Erection Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping projects from the earliest stages, delivering strong field leadership that sets the tone for successful builds.

The ideal candidate is a detailed and hands-on construction Project Manager with strong experience in structural steel erection or related trades, combined with excellent communication skills, strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Lead weekly project meetings and provide status updates
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and consultants
  • Manage RFQs, RFIs, and change orders
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with quality standards, contract specifications, and project timelines.

What we are looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, ideally within structural steel erection
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentation
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, Smartsheet, and project management tools
  • Ability to travel to customer locations and project sites (must have a valid driver's license)
  • Certified PMP Preferred      
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
