Social Media Manager Benefits and Compensation:

• Salary range: $70,000–$75,000, experience dependent
• Health, dental, and vision insurance

Social Media Manager Requirements & Qualifications

Must haves:

• 3–5 years of professional social media management experience
• Proven experience creating and publishing short-form video, photo, and written content
• Hands-on ownership of social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and Shorts
• Strong ability to capture and create real-time, in-the-moment content in a live retail environment
• Experience aligning social content with product launches, promotions, and inventory priorities
• Comfortable providing weekend coverage and attending in-store events
• Ability to engage directly with an online community through comments, DMs, and mentions
• Strong organizational skills with experience managing content calendars
• Experience tracking and interpreting social performance metrics and KPIs

Social Media Manager Preferred Background & Skills

Nice to have:

• Experience in retail, lifestyle, sports, entertainment, or community-driven brands
• Comfort working on camera and interacting with customers and creators
• Experience collaborating with influencers or brand partners
• Familiarity with analytics tools and social reporting
• Passion for collectibles, hobbies, or enthusiast communities
• Willingness to travel occasionally for industry events or shows
