We are seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven General Manager to join a highly regarded, established NYC restaurant. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality leader to oversee a talented FOH team and play a key role in maintaining exceptional service, guest relationships, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will be a polished and personable leader who thrives in a high-touch hospitality environment and enjoys being actively involved in both the guest experience and day-to-day operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive restaurant management experience, ideally within an upscale, fine-dining, or highly regarded chef-driven restaurant
  • Previous experience as a General Manager, AGM, Restaurant Manager, or senior FOH leader
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, develop, and hold a team accountable
  • Strong understanding of daily restaurant operations, staffing, scheduling, training, and service standards
  • Exceptional hospitality and guest-relations skills with a polished, personable presence
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Comfortable being hands-on and visible on the floor while managing the business behind the scenes
  • Must have experience managing and executing restaurant events and special programming
  • Ability to work 5 days per week, approximately 50–55 hours per week
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment

Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience in a Michelin-recognized, fine-dining, upscale, or chef-driven restaurant
  • Experience working in a high-touch hospitality environment with a strong emphasis on guest relationships
  • Experience with Resy, TripleSeat, POS systems, and other restaurant technology
  • Strong knowledge of wine, beverage, or fine-dining service
  • Experience managing vendors, inventory, purchasing, and restaurant maintenance
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with culinary leadership, ownership, and FOH teams
  • A mature, polished, and personable leadership style
  • Someone who enjoys the creative and relationship-driven side of hospitality and is excited to contribute ideas for future programming
