MRI Technician Requirements & Qualifications
- ARRT (MRI) certification required
- Associate’s degree or completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Strong communication and technical skills
MRI Technician Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment to obtain clear diagnostic images
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures
- Administer contrast media as necessary
- Follow strict safety and radiation protocols to ensure patient well-being
- Maintain accurate records and ensure equipment is properly cared for
