Operations Manager – Phoenix, AZ

Operations Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive operations leadership in manufacturing
- Aerospace, defense, precision machining, or regulated manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Proven success leading production, quality, and supply chain functions
- Strong ERP or MRP systems experience
- Demonstrated lean and continuous improvement leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, or a related field preferred
- Working knowledge of AS9100, ITAR, and export control requirements preferred
- Strong financial, analytical, and team leadership skills
Operations Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Own and drive all aspects of site performance: safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people
- Direct daily operations across machining, assembly, and support functions to meet customer commitments
- Lead and develop functional managers in production, quality, supply chain, engineering, and maintenance
- Ensure on-time delivery and schedule adherence using ERP and site reporting tools; recover at-risk jobs
- Manage the site operating budget, driving efficiency, margin growth, and cost performance
- Maintain compliance with AS9100 Rev D, ITAR, and US export control requirements
- Lead lean and continuous improvement initiatives to boost equipment uptime, throughput, and automation
- Step into a leadership role with lasting impact and tangible growth potential in advanced manufacturing
