Director of Marketing – Growth & Client Acquisition

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Director of Marketing to own how we acquire clients — strategic, handson, and creative.

We're currently doing $12–15 million a year. The goal for this role is to get us to $25–50

million and beyond.

We need someone who's built paid acquisition engines before — who can use paid ads,

strong creative, and real data to move revenue, and who owns the funnel all the way

through, not just the top of it: ad, lead, intake, sale, revenue.

What You'll Do

Paid acquisition. Build and scale our paid channels — Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and

whatever else makes sense. Know when to push spend into what's working, and keep us

from over-relying on any one platform.

Creative. A bigger piece of this role than people expect. You'll generate the hooks, offers,

scripts, imagery, and landing pages, then test them relentlessly. You're always thinking

about the next test, not just optimizing the last one.

The numbers. You should be comfortable living in cost per lead, CAC, click-through rate,

landing page conversion, lead-to-client conversion, ROAS, and LTV vs. acquisition cost.

Generating leads is easy. Generating leads that turn into profitable clients at scale is the

job.

After the lead comes in. Most marketing hires stop paying attention once someone fills

out a form. We need the opposite — someone working closely with intake and sales,

digging into response times and call data, finding where good leads fall through, and

tightening up follow-up.

What We're Looking For

• Has scaled a B2C company through paid acquisition with real revenue results, not

just campaign management

• Managed real ad budgets and knows how to scale spend without losing discipline

• Understands direct response and consumer psychology, not just channel

mechanics

• Deep experience with creative testing and performance creative

• Strong on landing pages and conversion optimization

• Can look at a funnel and spot where revenue is leaking

• Understands how marketing, sales, intake, and ops connect

• Comfortable deciding fast with incomplete data

• Moves easily between strategy and execution

Who Does Well Here

If a campaign underperforms, you want to know why immediately. If something wins, you

build five more versions of it right away.

You're comfortable saying "kill it" and just as comfortable saying "scale it." You move fast,

test constantly, and you're fine being judged on results.

Key Responsibilities

• Own paid acquisition strategy

• Run the testing roadmap — creative, offers, audiences

• Build and iterate on ad creative and campaigns

• Manage budget and channel allocation

• Build reporting on CAC, CPL, ROAS, and conversion

• Build and optimize landing pages

• Run real A/B testing

• Work with intake to close the gap between leads and signed clients

• Scout new channels and growth opportunities

• Manage agency, media buyer, and creator relationships

• Build simple forecasting models tying spend to revenue

• Hire and build out the marketing team over time

• Report directly to leadership on performance, risk, and opportunity

What Success Looks Like

Going from $12–15 million to $25–50 million or more, with an acquisition engine that's

measurable, predictable, and gets more efficient over time.
