Sous Chef Requirements
- Previous culinary leadership experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A passion for food, hospitality, and developing others
- Willingness to learn and grow
- ServSafe certification or equivalent
Sous Chef Responsibilities
- Actively participate in daily kitchen operations and service
- Support the Executive Chef with food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Hire, train, coach, and mentor culinary team members
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and kitchen standards
- Assist with inventory, ordering, prep, and cost controls
- Help create a positive, efficient, and team-oriented kitchen culture
