Senior Production Engineer Requirements & Qualifications:

• Significant experience using Autodesk Inventor for complex part and assembly modeling

• Strong experience with Autodesk Inventor Sheet Metal and Frame Generator

• Hands-on experience with iLogic, iParts, and iAssemblies

• Ability to create detailed 3D models, fabrication drawings, and technical documentation

• Experience creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs)

• Knowledge of engineering best practices for product modeling and design

• Experience working closely with manufacturing and programming teams to ensure successful production

• Ability to solve open-ended engineering challenges with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to detail and a positive, solution-oriented mindset

• Design custom equipment from engineering specifications and customer order requirements

• Maintain engineering data within an ERP system

• Develop automation and process improvements utilizing Autodesk iLogic

• Mentor junior engineers on modeling standards and drawing best practices

• Support research and development projects, production layouts, and continuous improvement efforts

 

Senior Production Engineer Preferred Background & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred

• Experience designing industrial machinery, material handling equipment, or custom manufacturing equipment

• Experience with Epicor or another ERP system

• Design for Manufacturing (DFM) experience

• Autodesk or SOLIDWORKS certifications such as ACA, ACP, ACE, CSWA, CSWP, or similar credentials

• Experience managing Autodesk Inventor asset libraries

• Background in custom equipment manufacturing or heavy industrial environments

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and production teams
