Location: East Coast (Boston Metro preferred); East Coast or Mid Atlantic
Travel: Approximately 50–55%
A rapidly growing and highly respected manufacturer of laboratory products is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive business growth across the Eastern United States. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated sales professional with a scientific background who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and managing key customer accounts in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and expand relationships with new and existing laboratory customers throughout the East Coast territory.
- Drive territory growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
- Manage a healthy sales pipeline and customer activity through a CRM platform.
- Collaborate with internal sales and customer support teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Conduct customer meetings, product presentations, and on-site visits to strengthen partnerships and close business.
- Represent the company professionally at customer locations, industry events, and throughout the sales process.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Scientific or life sciences background required.
- Experience selling laboratory products, scientific equipment, or related products is highly preferred.
- 3–5+ years of successful B2B territory sales experience with a proven record of exceeding sales goals.
- Strong consultative selling, prospecting, and account management skills.
- Experience utilizing CRM software to manage pipelines and forecast opportunities.
- Excellent presentation, communication, organization, and time management abilities.
- Self-motivated professional capable of working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory (approximately 50–55%).
