A precision manufacturer is hiring a Quality Technician for its second-shift Quality team. This opportunity is suited to someone with hands-on inspection experience who understands precision components and can recognize potential quality concerns before product advances through production.

In this role, you will complete incoming, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring tools, blueprints, CMM equipment, and quality documentation. The company is open to qualified candidates who are building their Quality Technician experience as well as experienced inspection professionals.

Quality Technician Benefits and Compensation:

  • Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and recordkeeping skills
  • Reliable attendance and ability to consistently work the Monday–Thursday, 2:45 PM–12:45 AM schedule

Must Haves:

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of precision components to identify dimensional or quality concerns before product moves forward
  • Choose and correctly use the appropriate measuring equipment for the feature or tolerance being inspected
  • Confirm inspection equipment is within calibration before use
  • Accurately document measurements, inspection outcomes, and accepted and rejected quantities
  • Identify, segregate, and communicate nonconforming product; collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to resolve concerns

  • CMM operating experience
  • Working knowledge of GD&T
  • Precision machining or CNC manufacturing experience with meaningful first-piece, in-process, or final inspection responsibilities
