The company already has its ERP system in place. The next Supply Chain Director will focus on getting more out of the existing systems and processes, particularly around Bills of Material, production scheduling, inventory accuracy, supplier performance, and material costs.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys fixing problems at the source and building processes that actually work on the manufacturing floor.

This position is 100% on-site in Woodstock, GA 30188.

  • Direct leadership impact across manufacturing and supply chain operations
  • Opportunity to improve and build processes during a period of company growth

Supply Chain Director Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Progressive supply chain leadership experience within manufacturing
  • Strong background in purchasing, strategic sourcing, production planning, inventory management, and supplier management

  • Ability to work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Operations

Must Haves:

  • Take ownership of purchasing, inventory, production planning, shipping, and receiving
  • Improve and standardize Bills of Material and item master data
  • Strengthen production scheduling and material planning
  • Analyze supplier pricing and negotiate cost reductions

Supply Chain Director Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Experience with manufacturing ERP/MRP software
  • Machinery, industrial equipment, engineered products, automation, or capital equipment manufacturing experience
  • Experience in a low-volume, high-mix or configure-to-order manufacturing environment
  • S&OP, demand planning, or forecasting experience
  • Track record of improving inventory turns, supplier performance, lead times, or material costs
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent manufacturing experience will be considered

What Success Looks Like:

Success in this position means creating a more predictable manufacturing supply chain.

The Director will improve BOM and inventory accuracy, create stronger production scheduling practices, reduce supplier costs, strengthen supplier performance, and make sure purchasing decisions align with actual production demand.

This person will also bring better visibility to supply chain performance through meaningful KPIs and stronger use of the company's ERP/MRP system.

The right candidate will be comfortable moving between strategy and execution. You'll be expected to understand the numbers, work directly with internal teams and suppliers, identify where processes are breaking down, and implement practical improvements.

This position does not include relocation assistance.

Candidates must live within a 45-minute commuting distance of Woodstock, GA 30188.

This is a direct-hire position. Third-party staffing, subcontracting, and Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements will not be considered.
