General Manager – Entertainment & Hospitality Venue
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a high-volume, event-driven hospitality venue in the Atlanta market. This is not a traditional restaurant GM position. The property is centered around live music, large-scale events, and a strong beverage program.
The ideal candidate will come from entertainment-driven hospitality, live music venues, or other high-volume social concepts. This leader should be comfortable running an operation where the format, crowd, and demands can change significantly from one event to the next.
What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day venue operations across beverage, food, and events while maintaining strong guest experience, safety, and operational standards
- Own execution for live music, private events, promoter activations, and large-scale events, translating the calendar into staffing and operating plans
- Manage a high-volume beverage program with strong controls around inventory, cost, waste, and responsible alcohol service
- Coordinate food trucks, third-party vendors, and outside contractors including sound/AV, security, and EMS
- Oversee crowd flow, security planning, outdoor operations, and contingency plans for high-volume events
- Own venue-level P&L performance, labor, forecasting, purchasing, inventory, and controllable costs
- Hire, coach, and develop managers and hourly teams while building an accountable, collaborative culture
- Partner closely with marketing, catering/events, and senior operations leadership to ensure seamless execution
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of progressive hospitality or venue operations experience, including 3+ years at the GM or comparable leadership level
- Experience leading a high-volume, event-driven operation with a strong beverage component
- Background executing live entertainment, private events, or large-scale activations
- Experience managing third-party vendors, security, crowd flow, and outside contractors
- Proven P&L, labor, inventory, and cost-control experience
- Approachable, organized leader who remains calm and decisive in changing live-event conditions
- Availability for evenings, weekends, event days, and occasional late-night operations
The Environment
This is a casual, down-to-earth concept with a highly collaborative culture. The business revolves around events, music, and community rather than traditional restaurant service. Programming and talent booking are handled by the broader executive and marketing team. The GM owns what happens inside the four walls, ensuring each event is well planned, well staffed, and executed at a consistently high level.
Compensation: Base salary up to $90,000, based on experience.
