Manager, Supply Chain & Program Management – Windsor, CT

A growing precision aerospace manufacturer is seeking an experienced supply chain and program management leader to help drive operational excellence. Manager, Supply Chain & Program Management Benefits & Compensation

Manager, Supply Chain & Program Management Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and customers to deliver complex aerospace programs from contract award through production and delivery
  • Lead supply chain strategy, supplier development, and long-term planning to ensure material and capacity needs are met
  • Oversee procurement, planning, inventory, and logistics to support production schedules and customer commitments
  • Drive supplier quality, delivery performance, and compliance with aerospace requirements
  • Lead continuous improvement, Lean, and Kaizen initiatives to enhance efficiency and program execution
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, ITAR, regulatory standards, and customer requirements

Manager, Supply Chain & Program Management Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field
  • 6+ years of progressive supply chain experience in aerospace manufacturing
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in aerospace, defense, or another highly regulated manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects or customer programs
  • Strong ERP/MRP knowledge and experience
  • Proven supplier management, sourcing, negotiation, and delivery-assurance experience
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality requirements
  • Experience supporting NPI, FAI, engineering changes, and production launch activities
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and programs in a complex manufacturing environment

Manager, Supply Chain & Program Management Preferred Background & Skills

  • Previous aerospace program management experience
  • PMP certification or equivalent experience leading aerospace programs from NPI to production
  • Experience managing customer-facing aerospace programs through full lifecycle
  • Experience with program financial management, including cost, margin, and revenue tracking
  • APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD certification; CPSM certification; Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and government contracting requirements
  • Experience with aerospace ERP systems and advanced planning tools
