We are seeking an experienced District Manager to oversee multiple Quick Service Restaurant locations throughout Iowa. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven multi-unit restaurant leader who excels at developing General Managers, improving restaurant performance, and driving strong financial and operational results.
Candidates may be located in or around Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Mount Pleasant, Burlington, or surrounding areas.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary up to $75,000, with potential flexibility for an exceptional candidate
- Approximately $468 monthly vehicle allowance
- Mileage reimbursement
- $99.99 monthly phone allowance

What You'll Do
As District Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of multiple restaurant locations and the development of their General Managers and leadership teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and develop General Managers across multiple locations
- Drive restaurant sales, profitability, and operational performance
- Analyze P&L statements and identify opportunities to improve financial results
- Maintain high standards for food quality, guest service, cleanliness, and food safety
- Ensure restaurants meet company operating standards
- Develop strong restaurant management teams through training, coaching, and accountability
- Establish clear performance expectations and follow up on results
- Manage labor, scheduling, budgeting, and other key operating metrics
- Identify performance gaps and implement effective action plans
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment and safety regulations
- Travel regularly between restaurant locations throughout the assigned district
What We're Looking For
- 5–7 years of restaurant management experience
- Multi-unit Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) management experience strongly preferred
- Proven success leading and developing General Managers
- Strong P&L and financial management experience
- Demonstrated ability to improve sales, profitability, labor, and operational performance
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to achieve results through others
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Restaurant Management, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
