We are seeking a highly driven Assistant General Manager to lead a fast-paced, high-volume, fast-casual restaurant operation. This role requires a confident leader who thrives on execution, operational excellence, and team development. The ideal candidate brings a balance of leadership, business acumen, and hospitality, ensuring both people and performance operate at the highest level. You will oversee all aspects of the restaurant, ensuring that systems, standards, and communication remain strong throughout the operation.
Assistant General Manager Benefits
- Base salary up to $100,000 (DOE)

Assistant General Manager Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience as an Assistant General Manager in QSR/fast-casual, high-volume restaurant environments
- Proven ability to lead and develop large teams
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, financial performance, and cost control
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with POS systems, scheduling software, and inventory management tools
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (ServSafe preferred)
- NYC Food Handlers Card required
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Assistant General Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations in a high-volume environment supporting the GM
- Lead and develop a large team, including managers and kitchen leadership
- Maintain exceptional standards for food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and safety
- Manage labor scheduling and staffing to meet business needs and cost targets
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost controls to support financial performance
- Ensure efficient service, accuracy, and hospitality in every guest interaction
- Support high-volume takeout, delivery, and catering operations
- Enforce operational systems and procedures to maintain consistency and efficiency
- Handle cash management, deposits, and daily financial reporting
- Recruit, train, and develop team members while fostering a positive culture
- Communicate clearly and respond quickly to operational challenges
