What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a remote team of tax professionals through coaching, technical guidance, and performance development.
• Review complex business and individual tax returns, including partnerships, corporations, S corporations, and high-net-worth individual returns.
• Manage workflow, capacity planning, and quality control across the tax team.
• Partner with clients on proactive tax planning, strategy, and implementation.
• Build trusted client relationships through exceptional communication and consultative service.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on pricing, billing strategies, client experience, and operational improvements.
• Help drive firm initiatives involving technology, process improvements, and long-term growth strategy.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• 3+ years of experience reviewing returns and leading or mentoring a team.
• Strong technical expertise with:
  • Partnerships (1065)
  • C Corporations (1120)
  • Individual returns (1040)
  • Pass-through entities
  • Tax planning and advisory services
• Experience leading a remote team or managing client relationships independently.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for mentoring and developing others.
• Comfortable working in a paperless, cloud-based environment.
• Interest in leveraging technology and AI to improve client service and internal efficiencies.
• CPA required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing new technologies or improving firm processes.
• Experience serving clients in healthcare, medical practices, real estate, or professional services.
• Experience with CCH Axcess, QuickBooks Online, or Xero.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary of approximately $110,000 to $140,000, depending on experience.
