We're partnering with a well-established U.S. manufacturer seeking a Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to lead purchasing, inventory, and supplier strategy while helping strengthen the processes that keep production moving. This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the President, offering the opportunity to influence operations, implement meaningful improvements, and build scalable systems in a collaborative manufacturing environment. This position is located in Woodstock, GA.
Supply Chain & Procurement Manager Benefits and Compensation:

Supply Chain & Procurement Manager Requirements & Qualifications:
- Five or more years of supply chain leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience leading purchasing, inventory management, and supplier relationships
- Strong ERP, MRP, or WMS experience; Syspro experience highly preferred
- Proven success developing inventory strategies, purchasing plans, safety stock levels, and material planning processes
- Experience negotiating supplier pricing, contracts, lead times, and sourcing strategies
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving operational improvements
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
Must Haves:
- Lead purchasing, inventory, and procurement operations to ensure materials are available to support production schedules
- Develop supplier strategies that improve quality, reduce costs, and minimize delivery risks
- Establish inventory policies, including safety stock levels, minimum order quantities, and replenishment strategies
- Drive ERP accuracy by maintaining purchasing, inventory, and material planning data
- Partner with engineering, production, sales, and logistics to improve material flow and reduce lead times
- Monitor supplier performance, inventory metrics, and operational KPIs while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Lead and develop purchasing and inventory team members while fostering accountability and collaboration
- Build scalable processes and standard operating procedures that support long-term operational growth
Supply Chain & Procurement Manager Preferred Background & Skills:
- Experience in small to mid-sized manufacturing companies, preferably supporting high-mix, low-volume production
- Lean Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma experience
- Background in industrial equipment, machinery, or engineered products manufacturing
- Experience implementing or improving ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and supplier development
- Demonstrated success reducing procurement costs while improving supplier performance
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence change across multiple departments
