Registered Architect Requirements
- B.S. degree in Architecture
- Tennessee Architecture license
- 5+ years of experience in architectural design, including municipal, K-12, and higher education facilities
- Experience with State agencies and/or medical projects is a plus
- Proficiency in REVIT is a must
- Project management and marketing skills preferred
- Experience in higher education, residential, commercial, mixed-use, and municipal projects
Registered Architect Responsibilities
- Assist with all technical aspects of design and project production
- Coordinate with local authorities, clients, contractors, and suppliers to define project scope and ensure successful construction
- Develop technical studies, designs, and written specifications
- Manage project budgets and schedules, and ensure project completion within set parameters
- Attend meetings and conduct site visits during construction to ensure adherence to design specifications and building codes
