We are looking for a hands-on concrete industry expert who understands concrete from the plant to the jobsite — someone who can confidently work with contractors, engineers, developers, dispatch, and operations teams while driving new business and maintaining strong customer relationships and quality assurance.

Sales & Business Development
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, engineers, municipalities, and project managers
- Identify and grow new Ready-Mix and Aggregate sales opportunities
- Prepare bids, pricing proposals, and supply agreements
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts while expanding market share
- Meet or exceed sales and profitability goals
Technical Concrete Support
- Provide expertise on concrete mix designs, aggregate specifications, and product performance
- Review plans and specifications to recommend appropriate material solutions
- Troubleshoot field and product performance issues
- Support customers with technical guidance and jobsite coordination
- Ensure compliance with ACI, ASTM, DOT, and municipal standards
Operations & Project Coordination
- Work closely with Dispatch, Plant Operations, QC, and Drivers to ensure successful project execution
- Coordinate delivery schedules and project timelines
- Assist with forecasting material demand and operational planning
- Support logistics, batching, trucking coordination, and customer service efforts
- Assist with winter snow operations planning and coordination
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Ready-Mix Concrete, Aggregates, Construction Materials, or Heavy Civil Construction
- Strong technical knowledge of: Concrete mix design, Aggregate gradations, Admixtures and concrete performance, and construction specifications and standards
- Proven sales and business development experience within the construction industry
- Strong operational understanding of ready-mix and aggregate production/logistics
- Current ACI Certification (Field Testing Technician Grade I or higher) and/or NRMCA Concrete Technologist Level 2 or 3 certification
- Strong understanding of ASTM, ACI, and state specifications
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel locally
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Existing relationships within the Massachusetts and Rhode Island construction markets
- Experience with DOT, municipal, commercial, or infrastructure projects
