Cafe General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years in a front-of-house leadership role in a full-service scratch kitchen restaurant setting.
  • Proven experience managing P&L responsibilities
  • Solid tenures; candidates with multiple recent short positions will not be considered.
  • Available to work 50–55 hours per week, including long shifts on your feet.
  • High degree of accountability and commitment to excellence.

Cafe General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and develop a hospitality team that consistently delivers warm and engaging guest service.
  • Maintain friendly service, presentation, ambiance, and strong attention to detail.
  • Continuously monitor, assess, and refine service execution via targeted training, feedback, and coaching.
