General Manager
Upscale Casual | High Volume | Scratch Kitchen | Greater Hartford Area
Are you a high-energy hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and knows how to turn a restaurant into a true community destination?
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on General Manager to lead one of the Greater Hartford area’s premier upscale-casual dining destinations. This is an opportunity to step into a high-volume, highly visible concept known for its vibrant atmosphere, scratch-driven menu, polished hospitality, and strong local following.
This is not an office-management role. We are looking for a true operator — someone who leads from the floor, builds genuine guest connections, develops strong teams, drives sales growth, and takes full ownership of the business.
About the Concept
This upscale-casual concept features chef-driven American comfort food, coal-fired cooking, handcrafted cocktails, brunch, private events, and a vibrant social dining atmosphere. The restaurant offers multiple dining spaces, a strong bar business, event opportunities, and significant potential for continued growth through private dining, community engagement, and strategic sales initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a hospitality leader who can:
- Drive an exceptional guest experience every day
- Lead and inspire a high-performing management and hourly team
- Grow sales through community involvement and relationship building
- Maximize the use of the restaurant’s unique spaces and private dining opportunities
- Maintain strong operational standards in a high-volume environment
- Build culture, accountability, and team development
- Take full ownership of the guest experience, financial performance, and overall operation
Ideal Background
- High-volume upscale casual or polished casual experience
- Strong food, beverage, and bar operations knowledge
- Proven leadership in scratch kitchen environments
- Hands-on floor presence with strong hospitality instincts
- Experience growing private dining and event revenue is a major plus
- Financially driven with strong P&L awareness
- Passion for hospitality, culture building, and guest connection
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary
- Performance bonus potential
- Full benefits package
- Growth opportunity with an established hospitality group
- High-profile leadership role within the Connecticut dining market
If you are passionate about hospitality, love building teams, and want to lead a restaurant with strong energy, loyal guests, and real growth potential, we would love to connect.
