We are seeking a Banquet Operations Manager to oversee event execution, lead banquet teams, and ensure seamless operations for weddings, corporate functions, and high-volume social events.

Banquet Operations Manager Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of banquet, catering, or event operations management experience
  • Strong leadership experience managing banquet staff and event execution
  • Experience overseeing weddings, corporate events, and high-volume banquet operations
  • Knowledge of BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) and event logistics coordination
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible schedules based on event demands
  • Experience conducting liquor inventory audits and maintaining operational controls
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to respond quickly to client concerns and operational emergencies
  • Experience maintaining banquet equipment, props, and operational inventory

Must Haves:

  • Hands-on banquet operations leadership experience
  • Experience leading event setup, resets, and breakdown execution
  • Strong attention to detail and event coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining constant communication with leadership and staff
  • Hospitality mindset focused on guest satisfaction and operational excellence

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Oversee banquet event setup and ensure all functions are executed according to BEO specifications
  • Lead banquet teams during weddings, corporate functions, and special events
  • Attend weekly BEO meetings to coordinate logistics across departments
  • Monitor event flow and resolve operational or guest concerns in real time
  • Conduct nightly recaps and maintain communication with leadership teams
  • Maintain organization of banquet equipment, props, and storage areas
  • Manage inventory and cleanliness of banquet-related equipment and service areas
  • Ensure smooth resets between events and maintain readiness for upcoming functions

Banquet Operations Manager Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Luxury hotel, catering hall, country club, or upscale event venue experience preferred
  • Experience with high-volume banquet operations and multi-event coordination
  • Familiarity with hospitality scheduling and labor management
  • Strong beverage and liquor inventory management background
  • Bilingual communication skills are a plus
  • Hospitality degree or related education preferred but not required
