Travel Manager Requirements & Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of experience in luxury travel, concierge services, hospitality, or a related field
• Proven success managing complex, high-touch travel logistics for discerning clients
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Superior communication abilities with a polished, professional presence
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with composure
• Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented approach

Travel Manager Preferred Background & Skills

• Familiarity with travel systems, CRM tools, or booking platforms
• Passion for travel, hospitality, and providing luxury service

Travel Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end planning for commercial flights, private aviation, and luxury hotels
• Curate multi-day itineraries including dining, tours, ground transportation, and concierge services
• Anticipate and proactively coordinate client travel needs, delivering a seamless, personalized experience
• Cultivate relationships with luxury travel partners, hotels, and vendors
• Conduct detailed research and present curated recommendations to clients
• Manage travel-related administration—including documentation, expenses, and database updates
• Ensure flawless execution of VIP amenities and client details
• Attend industry events to expand your network within the luxury travel and hospitality space
