The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the leadership team as a key presence in this family-friendly neighborhood restaurant. This role assists with the overall operation of the restaurant while helping drive performance, guest satisfaction, and increased sales and profitability. The Assistant Restaurant Manager works closely with the General Manager to ensure financial and operational goals are met while maintaining a strong, team-focused culture and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This individual helps represent the restaurant both in daily operations and within the local community.

Assistant Restaurant Manager Job Requirements:

  • Support hiring and retention of team members by helping create a culture focused on people
  • Assist with training programs to ensure all Team Members are trained to the highest standards possible
  • Help drive sales growth through operational excellence and being a brand ambassador in the community
  • Maintain quality of operations through adherence to company standards and team member accountability
  • Support daily operations including floor leadership, shift management, and guest engagement

Assistant Restaurant Manager Job Qualifications:

  • 1+ years in a restaurant leadership role (Assistant Manager, Shift Lead, or similar)
  • Servant-leadership style and passion for people
  • Casual and fast-casual dining experience (preferred)
  • Strong business acumen — scheduling, inventory, and cost control experience preferred
  • Enjoys hands-on leadership in a high-energy, neighborhood-friendly restaurant
