Position Overview

We are looking for a hands-on QA Analyst who thrives in a startup environment and is excited to help build quality processes from the ground up. This role will focus on testing React-based web applications and ensuring a seamless, high-quality user experience across our platform.

You will work closely with engineering and product teams, taking ownership of quality across the entire development lifecycle—not just testing at the end.

What You’ll Do

• Own the QA function and help define testing strategy, standards, and best practices
• Design and execute manual and automated test cases for React applications
• Partner directly with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and prevent defects early
• Identify, document, and prioritize bugs with a strong focus on user impact
• Test new features rapidly in an iterative release environment
• Perform regression, functional, and exploratory testing
• Validate API integrations and workflows critical to music-related functionality (e.g., content uploads, metadata handling, distribution pipelines)
• Contribute to or build lightweight automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
• Support CI/CD processes by integrating testing into deployment pipelines
• Advocate for quality and user experience in all product decisions

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of QA or software testing experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment
• Experience testing React applications (UI, component behavior, and workflows)
• Familiarity with modern testing tools (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, etc.)
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar
• Strong understanding of Agile or lean development practices
• Ability to operate with limited structure and take initiative
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats and adapting to changing priorities
• Strong communication skills in a remote, distributed team

Nice to Have

• Experience in music tech, media, or entertainment platforms
• Basic JavaScript/TypeScript skills for test automation
• Experience setting up QA processes in an early-stage company
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Exposure to performance or load testing 

Candidates must be based in Memphis, TN or Argentina (remote capabilities within these regions).
