Principal Electrical Engineer Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for electrical engineering across multiple product lines
- Lead complex PCB design and electrical system architecture decisions
- Design, test, and validate systems to meet EMI/EMC and regulatory standards
- Partner cross-functionally with mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineering team members
- Contribute to long-term product strategy and innovation initiatives
- Support troubleshooting, validation, and continuous improvement efforts
Principal Electrical Engineer Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering within a product-based environment
- Proven experience designing complex PCB systems
- Strong understanding of EMI/EMC standards and testing processes
- Experience working across the full product lifecycle, from concept through production
- Ability to operate at both a hands-on and strategic level
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across teams
- Experience in medical devices or regulated environments is a plus
