A growing, sophisticated law firm is seeking an experienced Senior-Level Tax Strategy Attorney to join its Advanced Tax Strategies team. This is a great opportunity for a client-focused attorney who enjoys working on complex tax planning matters in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
The Opportunity:
- Lead and implement advanced tax planning strategies for entrepreneurs, high-income earners, and ultra-high-net-worth clients
- Work on sophisticated matters including tax-free M&A, complex partnership structures, QSBS planning, and corporate reorganizations
- Serve as a key client advisor while mentoring junior attorneys and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- No billable hour requirements
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school; LL.M. in Tax strongly preferred
- 8+ years of post-JD experience in advanced tax planning
- Strong drafting, analytical, and client communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior attorneys is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary range: $160k–$180k, depending on experience
- Quarterly bonus potential tied to objective performance metrics
