We are seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial Business Development Specialist to join a growing, nationally recognized luxury hospitality and residential living organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who thrives on building relationships, developing new business, and closing deals. Our client specializes in luxury furnished apartments and flexible-stay accommodations, serving corporate travelers, relocating professionals, and individuals seeking premium temporary housing solutions. This is a true hunter sales role. Successful candidates will be comfortable generating their own leads, building a territory from the ground up, and developing long-term corporate relationships. If you enjoy the thrill of the hunt, aren't discouraged by rejection, and take pride in winning new business, we'd love to connect.

Business Development Specialist Compensation & Benefits

  • $80,000–$100,000 annual base salary plus monthly performance-based bonus opportunities.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
  • Company-provided laptop and cell phone, mileage reimbursement, and reimbursement for business-related expenses.
  • Paid birthday time off, volunteer opportunities, and complimentary furnished apartment stays at company locations nationwide for eligible employees.
  • Comprehensive onboarding, ongoing professional development, and long-term career advancement opportunities within a growing organization.

Business Development Specialist Responsibilities

  • Independently develop and manage a geographic sales territory, generating new business through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, networking, and in-person meetings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate decision-makers, HR professionals, relocation specialists, executive assistants, and other business partners.
  • Manage a robust sales pipeline, consistently following up with prospects through extended sales cycles, overcoming objections, and closing new corporate accounts.
  • Conduct property tours, client presentations, and networking events to showcase luxury accommodations and hospitality-driven services.
  • Track sales activities and performance through CRM software while collaborating with onsite leadership to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Business Development Specialist Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years of outside sales or business development experience, preferably in B2B sales, hospitality, corporate housing, relocation, travel, or multifamily real estate.
  • Proven success independently generating leads, developing new accounts, and consistently achieving or exceeding sales goals without relying on inbound opportunities.
  • Strong cold-calling, networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the persistence to manage extended sales cycles and overcome rejection.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and entrepreneurial with excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and experience using CRM and prospecting tools.
  • Reliable transportation, willingness to travel locally for daily business development activities, and flexibility to work onsite based on business and client needs.
