A well-established, locally owned restaurant group is seeking a Staff Accountant to support its multi-location operations. Bring your accounting expertise, attention to detail, and collaborative spirit to a team where your work makes an impact!
Staff Accountant Responsibilities
- Support month-end and year-end close
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations
- Reconcile daily sales and deposits
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare financial reports and review variances
- Reconcile payroll and inventory accounts
- Support sales tax reporting and audits
- Maintain accurate records and controls
Staff Accountant Requirements
- Two or more years of accounting experience
- Experience with reconciliations and month-end close
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Accounting or Finance degree preferred
- Restaurant or Multi-Unit Oversight
