CNC Lathe Set-Up Machinist Benefits and Compensation:

• $24–$39/hour, based on experience
• 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM

CNC Lathe Set-Up Machinist Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience independently setting up and operating CNC lathes or turning centers
• Strong understanding of CNC tooling, workholding, and machining processes
• Ability to interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
• Experience using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and maintain tight tolerances

Must Haves:

• Independently perform CNC lathe setups, including tooling changes, work offsets, and machine adjustments
• Complete first-piece inspections and make corrections to meet specifications
• Troubleshoot dimensional variations, tool wear, and machining inconsistencies
• Make CNC program edits and adjustments to improve part quality
• Work with complex components requiring precision machining and consistent quality

CNC Lathe Set-Up Machinist Preferred Background & Skills:

• Experience with twin-spindle, twin-turret, Swiss-style, or multi-axis CNC lathes
• Familiarity with G-code programming and CNC program modifications
• Experience in medical device or other precision manufacturing environments
• Background in high-mix, low-volume machining
• Strong mechanical aptitude and independent problem-solving skills

This position does not include relocation assistance. Candidates must live within commuting distance of the Lake Mills, WI 53551 location.

This is a direct-hire position. Third-party staffing, subcontracting, and Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements will not be considered.
