Executive Chef Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee daily kitchen functions, workflows, and facility standards.
- Quality & Technique: Direct all smoking processes, meat preparation, and culinary execution.
- Financial Oversight: Manage food costs, inventory, and labor budgets to achieve profitability.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, and mentor kitchen staff.
Executive Chef Requirements:
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of executive chef or head pitmaster experience within a high-volume, reputable barbecue or southern-comfort culinary concept.
- Proven Stability: Demonstrates a history of consistent, long-term employment with previous employers rather than frequent job changes.
- Career Consistency: Shows a strong commitment to past roles, reflecting reliability and stability in employment history.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to inspire, manage, and hold a diverse team accountable in a fast-paced environment.
