We are seeking an experienced Director of Housekeeping Operations to lead housekeeping and quality-control operations across an established short-term vacation rental market. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who understands the unique demands of vacation rentals—same-day turns, inspections, vendor performance, seasonal volume, staffing, and the absolute necessity of delivering a guest-ready property every time.

The infrastructure is already in place. We need a proven operator who can assess the existing operation, strengthen processes, develop teams, and bring greater consistency, accountability, and measurable performance across both locations.

Director of Housekeeping Responsibilities

  • Lead housekeeping and inspection operations across multiple vacation rental markets.
  • Manage, coach, and hold housekeeping teams, inspectors, and vendors accountable.
  • Oversee turnover scheduling, inspections, staffing, and peak-season planning.
  • Monitor quality, re-cleans, guest concerns, labor costs, vendor performance, and KPIs.
  • Partner with operations, maintenance, property management, and leadership to improve performance.

Director of Housekeeping Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant housekeeping or operations leadership experience.
  • Strong preference for professionally managed short-term vacation rental experience.
  • Proven success leading multi-location or high-volume housekeeping operations.
  • Experience with inspections, vendors, staffing, scheduling, quality control, and operating costs.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve standards, processes, accountability, and measurable results.

Director of Housekeeping Benefits:

  • Senior leadership role with significant operational ownership and visibility.
  • Established teams, inspectors, vendors, and operating infrastructure.
  • Opportunity to directly influence systems, standards, and performance.
  • Stable organization with a substantial portfolio of professionally managed vacation rentals.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits based on experience.

This is an opportunity for a seasoned hospitality operations leader who already knows how to run a complex housekeeping operation and is ready to make an immediate impact. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, know how to build accountability without sacrificing culture, and understand that guest-ready means guest-ready, we want to hear from you.
