- Estimating & Change Orders: Oversee project and change order estimates. Identify scope and scope gaps, coordinate vendor and subcontractor quotes, and negotiate change orders with customers.
- Scheduling & Planning: Build and manage schedules that line up with the general contractor's schedule. Use pull planning and work breakdown structures in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
- Preconstruction & VDC: Lead a detailed preconstruction process from contract award through field mobilization. Oversee 2D and 3D modeling, prefabrication and kitting, and field layout technology such as robotic total stations.
- Process & Systems: Roll out, train on and enforce documented processes across financial and project management platforms.
- Customer & Industry Relationships: Build long-term relationships with clients, general contractors, vendors and stakeholders while protecting the company's interests. Represent the company at industry and networking events.
