Sous Chef Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen
• Proven ability to lead, work, and direct the line during service
• Excellent knife skills, with butchery experience considered a plus
• Strong knowledge of kitchen systems and inventory management
• Ability to assist the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations
• Experience mentoring and developing line cooks
• Commitment to maintaining quality and company standards
• Current ServSafe Manager certification

Sous Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
• Lead and direct kitchen staff during service to ensure smooth execution
• Mentor and develop line cooks to build a strong team
• Maintain quality control and uphold company standards
• Manage inventory and kitchen systems to optimize efficiency
• Support the culinary team in delivering exceptional food consistently
