- Provide day-to-day direction and coaching to prep team members and help maintain accountability for productivity and quality.
- Support the Prep Supervisor in maintaining an organized, efficient, and productive work environment.
- Communicate staffing concerns, production delays, inventory shortages, equipment issues, or quality concerns to the Prep Supervisor.
- Assist with tracking production and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Work collaboratively with Production, Culinary, Procurement, Distribution, and Operations teams to support daily commissary needs.
Qualifications

- Previous lead, trainer, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, prep, and batch production.
- Ability to read and follow standardized recipes and production specifications.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
- Comfortable providing direction and coaching to team members.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, hands-on, and willing to work alongside the production team.
- Ability to identify operational issues and communicate them appropriately to management.
- Comfortable learning and using inventory, production, scheduling, or reporting systems.
