Base Salary: $93,000 + Significant Performance-Based Incentive Opportunity

A growing and highly regarded hospitality organization is seeking an entrepreneurial Operating Partner to lead one of its high-volume locations in the Greater Boston market. This is a unique opportunity for an accomplished restaurant operator to take significant ownership of the business, build an exceptional team and culture, and directly influence the financial and operational performance of their location.

The organization is continuing to expand and is developing a new Operating Partner model designed to provide experienced operators with greater autonomy, accountability and meaningful long-term financial incentives.

Essential Duties

  • Take ownership of the café's overall operational, financial and guest experience performance.
  • Build and retain an exceptional team and create a strong, positive culture.
  • Lead FOH and BOH operations while maintaining consistently high standards for food, hospitality, service and cleanliness.
  • Create a warm, memorable guest experience that drives repeat business and loyalty.
  • Recruit, train, coach and develop managers and hourly team members.
  • Analyze sales, labor, food costs and other financial metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Develop and execute strategies that drive year-over-year sales and profitability.
  • Maintain a highly visible, hands-on leadership presence and step into the operation wherever needed.
  • Develop future leaders and establish clear performance expectations for the management team.
  • Operate within established company standards and guardrails while bringing an entrepreneurial approach to the business.
  • Partner with District and Regional leadership to share best practices and drive operational excellence.
  • Serve as a visible ambassador for the brand within the local community.
  • Take accountability for achieving the performance metrics associated with the Operating Partner incentive and profit-sharing program.

Ideal Candidate

  • Significant high-volume restaurant management experience, ideally overseeing $4M+ in annual revenue.
  • A demonstrated understanding of restaurant P&L management and financial performance.
  • A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves leadership style.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and genuine sense of ownership.
  • A track record of building strong teams and developing people.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional food, hospitality and guest experiences.
  • Strong community and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to balance independent decision-making with established company standards and operating guardrails.

Compensation & Long-Term Incentive Opportunity

  • $93,000 base salary — fixed
  • Significant performance-based incentive opportunity with the potential to substantially increase total compensation
  • Renewable five-year Operating Partner agreement
  • Performance-based profit sharing tied to EBITA before rent
  • Year-over-year performance thresholds and clearly defined incentive metrics
  • No financial buy-in required
