Production Planning Manager Benefits & Compensation
- Base salary range of $70,000–$90,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications

Production Planning Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- 5+ years of production planning and scheduling experience in manufacturing
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate cross-functionally
- Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in team development and performance management
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing industries
- Epicor Manufacturing ERP proficiency
Production Planning Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Background in Lean or Six Sigma process improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with ISO or other quality management system standards
Production Planning Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules that align with business goals and customer demands
- Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless processes
- Partner with customers to meet on-time delivery expectations
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines and optimize resource use
- Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend process improvements
- Design and mature production planning tools and processes
- Ensure safety and quality compliance throughout the production lifecycle
- Prepare and present production metrics and reports for senior management
