General Manager – Cincinnati, OH
A dynamic, growing destination hospitality organization is seeking a hands-on leader ready to take ownership of a unique venue blending outdoor recreation, retail, food & beverage, and seasonal attractions. General Manager Benefits & Compensation
- $100,000–$125,000 base salary, plus performance-based bonus incentives tied to property results

General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- 3 to 5+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, retail, theme parks, agritourism, food & beverage, or entertainment venues
- Proven track record in hiring, coaching, and developing teams
- Solid experience managing high-volume operations with multiple components
- Strong communication, guest-facing, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors and managing seasonal business cycles
- Ability to lift 45 lbs and navigate large indoor/outdoor spaces
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and full-time onsite availability
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and seasonal peak periods
General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Background in restaurant or hotel management
- Experience in theme parks, entertainment venues, or agritourism environments
General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team focused on hospitality, guest engagement, and safety
- Oversee daily programming, food & beverage operations, retail inventory, and seasonal attractions
- Manage P&L performance, labor planning, budgeting, and KPI tracking
- Build and maintain vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with all regulations
- Uphold site safety, equipment functionality, and high-quality facility standards
- Streamline seasonal processes and champion a welcoming, family-first guest environment
Preferred Experience
Experience with theme parks, amusement parks, destination attractions, family entertainment venues, agritourism operations, event venues, or resort properties with significant restaurant and food-and-beverage operations is especially valuable.
The successful candidate will be approachable, accountable, safety-conscious, guest-focused, and comfortable bringing structure and consistency to an authentic, community-oriented environment.
