An established, high-volume restaurant in downtown Minneapolis is seeking an experienced Front of House Manager to join its leadership team.

This is a hands-on operational role for a strong hospitality leader who knows how to run the floor, hold departments accountable, develop people, and drive an exceptional guest experience. We are looking for someone who leads from the front, sets clear expectations, and makes sure the operation is executing at a high level every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily Front of House operations
  • Hold FOH departments and team members accountable for service, cleanliness, hospitality, and operational standards
  • Maintain a strong leadership presence on the floor, particularly during peak periods
  • Coach, train, develop, and motivate managers and hourly team members
  • Ensure each department is properly staffed, prepared, and executing to expectations
  • Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and labor performance
  • Ensure opening, closing, and shift procedures are consistently followed
  • Maintain excellent guest service standards and quickly resolve guest concerns
  • Partner closely with kitchen leadership to ensure smooth communication and execution between FOH and BOH
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
  • Identify operational issues and take ownership of finding solutions
  • Help drive sales, efficiency, team engagement, and overall restaurant performance
  • Create a culture of accountability, teamwork, urgency, and hospitality

Ideal Candidate

  • 3–5 years of restaurant or hospitality management experience
  • High-volume, full-service restaurant experience strongly preferred
  • Strong Front of House operational knowledge
  • Proven ability to lead teams and hold people accountable
  • Comfortable managing multiple departments and priorities
  • Hands-on leadership style — someone who wants to be on the floor and involved in the operation
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Calm and decisive in a fast-paced environment
  • Stable work history with a genuine passion for hospitality
