Warehouse Manager
A respected food manufacturing and distribution group is seeking a hands-on warehouse leader for its distribution center. Warehouse Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Direct experience in food or beverage warehousing, with a strong understanding of inventory operations
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example in a physical, warehouse-floor environment
- Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends and adjust hours as business needs dictate
- Experience operating forklifts and handling large pallet volumes
- Familiarity with ERP/WMS software (NetSuite or comparable systems preferred)
Warehouse Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Prior experience managing a distribution center or high-volume food warehousing operation
- Track record of improving data and inventory accuracy within a warehouse setting
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional or remote teams
- Background supporting regular facility audits and inventory reconciliations
Warehouse Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead by working directly alongside warehouse staff, unloading trucks, driving forklifts, and maintaining daily operations on the floor
- Oversee inventory movement, receiving, storage, pallet replenishment, and order fulfillment for a dynamic SKU set
- Ensure data accuracy and support regular audits by partnering with quality, accounting, and supply chain teams
- Prioritize and problem-solve throughout the day, adapting to shifting business demands such as truck arrivals and urgent orders
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement among warehouse staff
