Assistant Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, retail, hospitality, or leadership experience preferred
- Quick-service restaurant management experience strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
Assistant Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience training and developing employees
- Effective at building a positive, accountable workplace culture
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Assistant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant operations and support the general manager in all aspects of business performance
- Coach, motivate, and develop crew members and shift managers for ongoing success
- Ensure consistent Quality, Service, Cleanliness, and Safety standards throughout all shifts
- Manage staffing, labor deployment, and scheduling for optimal service
- Address customer concerns and oversee effective guest recovery
- Support inventory management, cost control, and food safety compliance
- Step in as acting manager when needed and help identify and cultivate future leaders
