Tax Planning CPA

We are seeking an accomplished Tax Planning CPA to join a well-established firm serving closely held businesses, business owners, and high-net-worth individuals. This executive level position requires 15+ years of experience, deep tax expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead, mentor, and serve as a trusted client advisor.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, corporations, S corporations, and closely held businesses.
• Develop sophisticated personal, estate, and business tax-saving strategies.
• Analyze clients’ financial positions, tax projections, and financial statements, presenting recommendations during quarterly meetings.
• Oversee complex tax engagements and provide final review of significant filings and recommendations.
• Advise clients on business structures, accounting processes, and financial performance.
• Represent clients in matters involving the IRS and other tax authorities.
• Lead and mentor tax professionals while supporting the growth of the tax department.

Desired Experience

• 15+ years of progressive tax planning and advisory experience.
• Active CPA license required.
• Extensive experience with high-net-worth individuals and complex business tax portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of individual, estate, partnership, corporate, and S corporation taxation.
• Proven leadership, client advisory, and mentoring experience.
• Strong financial statement analysis and business advisory skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Lacerte or comparable tax software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
