Your Impact

As Director of Nursing, you'll provide strategic and operational leadership for all nursing services while fostering an environment where employees feel supported, residents receive exceptional care, and quality outcomes continue to improve.

Key Responsibilities

Lead & Inspire

  • Develop, mentor, and coach nursing leaders and frontline staff
  • Build a culture centered on teamwork, accountability, and professional growth
  • Recruit, retain, and develop top nursing talent
  • Foster employee engagement and a positive workplace culture

Drive Clinical Excellence

  • Oversee all nursing operations and resident care delivery
  • Ensure individualized care plans are implemented and maintained
  • Collaborate with physicians, rehabilitation, pharmacy, dietary, social services, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Promote quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices

Ensure Operational Success

  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Oversee staffing, competencies, and clinical performance
  • Support resident safety and employee safety initiatives
  • Champion continuous improvement and regulatory readiness

Qualifications

Required

  • Active Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, or Senior Living
  • CPR/BLS Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)

Preferred

  • BSN or MSN
  • Progressive nursing leadership experience within Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, or Assisted Living
