General Manager – Commercial & Multifamily Flooring
Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas
Lead a Growing Operation. Build the Culture. Drive the Results.
An established commercial flooring contractor is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its expanding Dallas-Fort Worth operation. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role where you'll have the autonomy to shape the culture, develop your team, and help drive the continued growth of a respected organization specializing in commercial and multifamily new construction.
If you're the type of leader who believes accountability and positive culture go hand in hand, we'd love to talk.
What You'll Do
As General Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the DFW branch while serving as the primary leader for the local team. Working closely with executive leadership, you'll help establish operational excellence, improve communication, develop employees, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people just as much as managing operations.

- Lead daily operations for a growing branch location.
- Build a culture centered around accountability, communication, and teamwork.
- Provide leadership to project management, field operations, and office staff.
- Partner with executive leadership to execute strategic initiatives.
- Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Develop future leaders within the organization.
- Foster strong relationships with customers, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Help position the branch for continued long-term growth.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of leadership experience within commercial and/or multifamily flooring.
- New construction flooring experience is required.
- Demonstrated success leading operational teams.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to motivate teams while maintaining accountability.
- Ability to foster a culture of teamwork and camaraderie in absence of higher leadership.
- Experience managing multiple projects, personnel, and operational priorities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a growing organization.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of $150,000–$180,000, depending on experience.
- Total compensation package around $200,000+.
- Vehicle allowance and fuel reimbursement.
- Company cell phone.
- Comprehensive health benefits.
- 401(k).
- Paid time off.
- Opportunity to play a key leadership role in the continued expansion of a highly respected commercial flooring contractor.
