A rapidly growing and innovative life sciences organization is seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager to lead business development and account growth throughout the Southeast United States. This is an exceptional opportunity for a high-performing sales professional with experience selling into the biopharmaceutical manufacturing market who thrives in a consultative, relationship-driven environment.
This role offers the opportunity to represent cutting-edge bioprocess technologies while partnering with leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CDMO, and research organizations across one of the industry’s fastest-growing regions.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic territory growth plan across the Southeast U.S.
- Prospect and secure new business while expanding relationships with existing biopharmaceutical customers.
- Build trusted partnerships through consultative selling and solution-based account management.
- Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and customer support teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Identify new market opportunities and provide valuable customer insights to support product development initiatives.
- Manage all sales activities, forecasting, and pipeline development through CRM.
- Consistently achieve or exceed territory sales objectives while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ideal Background
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience in the Life Science industry
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience within the life sciences, bioprocess, biotechnology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or laboratory products industry.
- Experience selling bioprocess consumables, single-use technologies, filtration, fluid management, laboratory equipment, or related products strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes and production environments.
- Demonstrated success developing new business while growing strategic accounts.
- Experience utilizing CRM platforms to manage opportunities and forecast revenue.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing a large geographic territory.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50–55% throughout the Southeast.
