Director of Finance
Nashville, TN | Hybrid
Are you a strategic finance leader who enjoys partnering with executive leadership to drive business decisions through financial analysis, forecasting, and operational insights?
A growing, multi-site healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Finance to provide financial leadership
across Accounting, FP&A, and Revenue Cycle operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys combining strategic business partnership with operational leadership in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership while overseeing key financial functions that support the continued growth of the organization.
What You'll Do
- Partner with executive leadership to provide financial analysis and strategic decision support.
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Develop financial models and executive dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools.
- Analyze operational and financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Oversee physician compensation models and quarterly compensation calculations.
- Provide leadership and oversight to the Accounting and Revenue Cycle teams, partnering with department managers to drive financial performance and operational excellence.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close process in collaboration with the Accounting team and corporate finance.
- Oversee cash management, reconciliations, fixed assets, inventory, and financial reporting activities.
- Present financial results and recommendations to executive leadership and physician partners.
- Drive process improvements, cost containment initiatives, and operational efficiencies across the organization.
- Collaborate with corporate finance on audits, tax reporting, and financial reporting requirements.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting leadership experience.
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
- Experience leading Accounting and Revenue Cycle functions.
- Advanced financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling experience.
- Strong Power BI, Excel, and business intelligence reporting skills.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to influence leaders across multiple departments and drive strategic decision making.
