Senior Construction Manager – Luxury Custom Homes

$150K–$200K Total Compensation | Executive-Level Opportunity | Long-Term Ownership Potential

Build Exceptional Homes. Help Lead the Company Behind Them.

We are conducting a confidential search for an accomplished luxury residential construction professional to join an established, family-owned custom home builder entering an important stage of its growth.

This is not a production builder, and this isn't simply another project management position.

The company intentionally builds a limited number of high-end, complex custom homes, allowing its team to maintain an exceptional level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and personal service.

They're looking for an experienced construction leader who can take ownership of projects in the field today while developing into a key part of the company's leadership for the future.

For the right individual, there is a real long-term path toward ownership/partnership.

The Opportunity

You'll have significant responsibility and autonomy, working directly with ownership while overseeing some of the region's most distinctive residential projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading luxury custom homes from preconstruction and site development through final homeowner turnover
  • Managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, vendors, and overall field execution
  • Maintaining exceptional standards for craftsmanship, quality, and job-site organization
  • Working directly with homeowners, architects, engineers, designers, and trades
  • Identifying and solving construction issues before they impact the project
  • Leading and developing field personnel
  • Improving construction processes, communication, and accountability
  • Helping ownership strengthen the operation as the company moves into its next stage

We're Looking for a Builder — Not Just a Manager

The right person understands how a high-end home is actually built.

You should have strong, hands-on knowledge across the residential construction process, including:

  • Site work, grading, drainage, and foundations
  • Framing and structural construction
  • Roofing, windows, waterproofing, and exterior systems
  • Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing
  • High-end interior finishes and architectural details
  • Scheduling and subcontractor coordination
  • Quality control, punch, and final delivery

You should also be comfortable working directly with high-net-worth, detail-oriented homeowners who expect excellent communication, responsiveness, and execution.

The Person We're Looking For

You may currently be a:

Senior Construction Manager | General Superintendent | Senior Superintendent | Custom Home Project Manager | Director of Construction | Residential Construction Manager

More important than your current title is your experience.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • A proven leader in luxury or high-end custom residential construction
  • Strong in the field and credible with experienced trades
  • Professional and polished enough to work directly with sophisticated homeowners
  • Detail-oriented without losing sight of schedules and budgets
  • Collaborative, accountable, and low ego
  • Interested in finding the right company for the next 10+ years, not simply the next job

Compensation & Location

Total Compensation: Approximately $150,000–$200,000, depending on experience and overall fit.

The position is located in a highly desirable community outside the Atlanta market and will require relocation for candidates who do not already live in the area.

For someone open to making a move, this is an opportunity to live and work in one of the region's most desirable communities while building exceptional homes and helping shape the future of a respected company.

The Long-Term Opportunity

The owners aren't simply looking to hire someone to manage projects.

They're looking for someone they can trust, invest in, and potentially build the future of the company with.

For the right person, this role offers something increasingly difficult to find in construction:

Great projects. Real autonomy. Direct access to ownership. Long-term stability. And a legitimate opportunity to eventually have a stake in what you're helping build.

If you're an accomplished custom home builder who is ready for something bigger than your next project, we'd welcome a confidential conversation.

All inquiries will be handled in strict confidence.
