We are seeking a Disaster Restoration Superintendent field leader responsible for managing mitigation and reconstruction projects following water, fire, smoke, mold, and storm damage. Oversees crews, subcontractors, schedules, safety, quality control, and budgets from emergency response through project completion. Serves as primary on-site contact for homeowners, commercial clients, and insurance adjusters.
Disaster Restoration Superintendent Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day field operations for restoration and rebuild projects
- Supervise crews, subcontractors, and vendors; coordinate schedules and materials
- Oversee mitigation (water extraction, drying, mold remediation, fire/smoke cleanup) and reconstruction (demo, framing, drywall, paint, flooring)
- Maintain job documentation, photos, daily logs, and change orders
- Assist with scoping and estimating (Xactimate preferred)
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and quality control
- Communicate with clients and insurance representatives
- Participate in on-call emergency response rotation
- 3–5+ years in disaster restoration or construction supervision
- Experience with water/fire/mold mitigation and reconstruction
- IICRC certifications (WRT, FRST, ASD preferred)
- Proficient with Xactimate and insurance claim processes
Disaster Renovation Superintendent Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary range of $55K – $65K, based on experience
